Atomic Habits by James Clear
One of my favorite books is Atomic Habits by James Clear. If you haven’t read it you should give it a shot because it’s a really great book.
One of my favorite stories in there is about bamboo. Bamboo takes five years to grow underground as soon as it shoots out, it shoots up to about 80-90 feet in just 6 weeks.
Think about the grind that you’re going through right now with your business or your life and you just think it’s taking years and years off your life and in an instant it can shoot up that quick.
So keep grinding!
Extreme Endurance vs Beta Alanine
Buffering Lactic Acid(that burn)
Extreme Endurance vs. Beta Alanine - The Facts
Athletes and everyday gym goers are constantly asking what is the best way to help prevent lactic acid
build-up. No one who puts in hours of training wants to feel that muscle burn in the middle of an event. We have all felt it. Your mind says to keep working hard, but your muscles reply, “I can’t take any more”. The lactic acid has caught up and is causing you pain.
What is Lactic Acid and Body Acid?
Every athlete, actually everyone should know about proper pH balance. PH balance is critical to top athletic performance. PH is measured on a 14 point scale. The lower pH value range, such as stomach acid could average between 1.0 to 3.0. A pH value of 7 is neutral. The arterial blood pH value of a healthy human ranges around 7.35 to 7.45, which is slightly alkaline. As our body uses fuel and metabolizes food, we produce acid waste, which is part of the process of energy release from the breakdown of glucose. The body has numerous ways to remove this acid waste or try to neutralize this acid buildup. Our kidneys filter blood and excrete acids through urine. Our lungs release carbon dioxide and we sweat acids out of our skin. We also have built in acid buffers to help neutralize pH imbalances like calcium, hemoglobin and phosphorous to name a few.
Your body's acid concentration increases as you produce lactic acid. Lactic acid is split into lactate (lactate ions) and hydrogen ions. H+ (hydrogen ions) is the acid in lactic acid. Lactate is good and is an extremely fast fuel that is preferred by the heart and muscles during exercise. Lactate is vital for ensuring that your body gets a steady supply of carbohydrates. H+ (hydrogen ions), the other half of lactic acid is not good, especially when the acid concentration exceeds the body's ability to no longer neutralize or flush the waste from your body.
What can be taken to neutralize the H+ or bad lactic acid? What is safe and effective? And can it be proven?
Beta Alanine, found in numerous sports nutrition products, has been the “go to” ingredient for many athletes for years. The belief is it buffers lactic acid. It does not.
Beta-alanine, in itself, is not a buffer. It is a non-essential amino acid. It first must
be synthesized to carnosie. Carnosie is the dipeptide that functions as a buffer,
not beta-alanine. We call beta-alanine the “snail’s pace” to buffering acid. It is
old technology and it can take up to 4-10 weeks to get in your system.
Extreme Endurance buffers the hydrogen ions (H+) within 48-72 hours. It is a revolutionary new technology to buffer acid and reduce muscle damage. It is not one ingredient that targets the H+ but it is the combination of ingredients and the delivery system that makes this so effective in buffering and also repairing microscopic muscle tears to quicken recovery, reduce muscle soreness and has been clinically proven to work in numerous studies.
Extreme Endurance had it’s first third party clinical done on the formula in 2007. Third party means that Extreme Endurance did not know the testing facility. They had no influence over any aspect of the testing other than writing the protocol. This Gold Standard, double-blind, placebo-controlled study of 22 elite athletes, published in the Clinical Nutrition Supplements Journal, shows a 10-day usage reduced lactic acid by 15% and increased aerobic threshold by double digits. Hard to believe - but it intrigued the lead researcher to the extent he paid for his own additional study to find out if the longer an athlete stayed on Extreme Endurance, the greater their scores. He confirmed his suspicions.
Testing has not stopped with this one study. Further testing by Xendurance confirmed not only does Extreme Endurance reduce lactic acid by 15%, but it also reduces CK (Creatine Kinease) levels by 63% . High levels of CK are associated with muscle tears and muscle trauma. Extreme Endurance provides a way to greatly reduce this condition. This study proved that less muscle trauma means less muscle soreness and a much quicker recovery time, which is a game changer in any sport.
2nd Extreme Endurance Clinical Study (2016) JOURNAL OF ATHLETIC ENHANCEMENT:
Dr. David Bellar, Director of the School of Kinesiology, and Jason Soileau M.S., CSCS, from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, conducted a double-blind, placebo controlled, crossover study with 16 active males that assessed the total effects of Extreme Endurance during exercise. Their findings? An astounding 26% Reduction in Lactic Acid, 39% Reduction in Oxidative Stress and a 6x lowering of Creatine Kinase Levels.
More details can be found by reading their study published in the Journal of Athletic Enhancement listed below. Here is a summary of their findings: The Effects of 10 Days of Extreme Endurance on Performance, Buffering Capacity during Exercise and Post Exercise Muscle Damage, Oxidative Stress and Inflammation.
The clinical evidence may have you wondering why you haven’t heard about Extreme Endurance. If this sports nutrition product is so effect at combating what many athletes work hard to avoid, why haven’t more people heard about it?
Many have, but they are not telling you. Why would they? Why tell your competitors that you have the solution for not cramping up at mile 22? Why broadcast that you can swim the world’s fastest 100-meter anchor leg and not tighten up and win a Gold medal? Why tell anyone you can play game after game in the World Cup and still have fresh legs? Why don’t Cross functional World Champions talk about their use of Extreme Endurance? It is because they like being on top of the podium. Why give your competitors the edge.
Extreme Endurance will start buffering lactic acid within 48-72 hours, not 4-10 weeks. It has no side effects. You do not have to worry about getting a tingling sensation. Your VO2 max will increase. And you might like the price comparisons along with setting new PR’s. Extreme Endurance was also the first US sports nutrition product certified drug-free for banned substances by Informed Choice and Informed Sport.
Lastly, you do not need to take any Beta-alanine product if you use Extreme Endurance.
Here is the comparison you need to know
Beta Alanine:
1) 4-10 Weeks beta alanine in large dosage necessary for loading (4-6g/day)
2) Side effects like parathesia (tingling). Effects sensory neurons of the skin
3) Buffers acid through increased production muscle carnosine
4) No effects on decreasing muscle trauma or soreness
5) No effects on VO2 max
VS
Extreme Endurance:
1) Works within 48 to 72 hours, not 4 to 10 weeks
2) Reduce muscle soreness
3) Decreases CK levels (muscle trauma).
4) Reduce muscle burn and pain
5) Faster recovery
6) Increases lactate threshold in turn resulting in increased VO2 max
7) NO side effects

How Social Media Can Help You
I began my agent career in late 2009 by learning the textbook way of cold calling, face to face meetings, baseball card deals, car deals, and… appearances. Not that these still don’t or shouldn’t exist, but there is now a more effective way that’s not so abrasive.
I always had an entrepreneurial spirit and loved to build things. I started working with an athlete in the CrossFit space and I learned quickly that CF was going to be something very big. Knowing that these athletes didn’t have the income like traditional sports athletes and needed a full-time job or sponsors to help them so they could train full time, I began learning about social platforms back in 2011, with Facebook and Twitter being the most notable at the time. Seeing that certain celebrities and athletes were only allowed to have 5k friends, It wasn’t until I realized if we made our athletes a fan page, that we could get them more exposure and this resulted in more fans; which got them the opportunities to work with larger companies as sponsors……. As Instagram came to life it was if all the things fell into place for companies and athletes. It was the perfect partnership for athletes to use products they love and get paid, while companies can get quick exposure and eyeballs on their products with a push of a button. After almost 10 years of helping Crossfit, Baseball, and Olympic athletes build social media platforms, I realized the power in it for all of us, as many of you already know. Social media can and will bring value to your life by following others, so why don’t you fill others proverbial cups and help add value to others lives?
So what are some of the PRO TIPS of social media?
First- understand what social media is, or specifically what each platform offers. Instagram for example is a story. Your story. People that follow you want to hear and see you. ex: hobbies, work, foods you like, pets, family, products and maybe tips or life hacks that can bring value to someone else’s life. Here are some basic steps to best get your story across-
Personalize your account
- Let people in on what it is you do! High quality photos are visually pleasing, and will help with higher engagement.
- The more often you post, the higher chance you have of posting an engaging post- thus exposing you to other accounts via the “explore” page.
- Consistency = Exposure
- Have your insta or FB stories always going, but not too many!
- The more you let people in on your hobbies, interests, and passions, the more chances they have to identify with you. By keeping a consistent theme across your account, people can identify who you are and what you have to offer, faster.
- The use of “Stories” (Polls, Replies, Trends, Helps to not overwhelm)
- Use hashtags #. They exist for a reason, around 5-7 that are relatable to that photo
- Tag & mention people, companies, restaurants, etc. Repost great content from others
- Take us along your journey and what you want us to gain from it
- Comment on others pics and respond back to comments on your photos
For those that are new to social media, this will be a great foundation to start with. Stay tuned for more Pro tips on how Social media can help you or your business.

Sales- It's Not Just A Transaction
“A proper ‘sale’ is the exchange of information, insight, and action that you bring to your prospective customers, friends, or family to reduce friction that they cannot reduce on their own.”
How do you solve someones issue?
5 Tips
1. Listen, learn, and pay attention.
2. Help customers better understand their needs through questioning.
3. Share your personal testimonial and how it relates to the customer.
4. Provide product knowledge that includes proof of concept as to why your product is different, and better from others.
5. Offer a solution to their identified need and/or find ways to help them beyond the transaction.
It’s simple, if you’re not practicing the above points then your prospects and customers will have no reason to talk to you.
I had 3 sales jobs before becoming an MLB agent, but selling copiers was absolutely the most humbling coming out of professional sports.
After being told “If you can sell copiers, you can sell anything”, what I quickly learned was that all printers and copiers had pretty much the same functionalities. So where was the wiggle room? The cost. It’s easy to sell against a competitor when you can offer a better price. BUT, those were often comparable as well. The question then became, WHY and HOW can I sell my product to a business that already has a copier and has seen pricing that is comparable? I needed to UNDERSTAND my customers and their business first.
This is where ADDING VALUE comes into play. This would be where I separated myself from my competitors. Taking the time to invest in getting to know the people operating the business and learning about how they ran their business. Building personal relationships with customers builds trust. Trust can lead you to far more success when selling. It quickly became evident that there was a benefit to businesses leasing instead of buying copiers because if they were growing, they were constantly adding employees which meant a need for a machine that could handle the volume. On top of that, as technology advances, and copiers could handle more work, those that owned the copier would soon come to regret it as it would become outdated. Another value add was troubleshooting if the company was spending more than they needed on ink. To solve this, all they needed to do was update their copier technology (more than just ink) so I made it my mission to save them money and help with their efficiencies. It drove me to help those businesses, and helped me to sell a whole lot of copiers. This was all possible due to the personal relationships created, and if customer feels safe to share their needs, it helped me to better understand how I could help.
This is the foundation of my mission with Xendurance. It is important to me and imperative that I show you WHY we should be supplementing our diets, HOW our products are superior to any other brands and UNDERSTAND that artificial sweeteners, flavors and colors are cheap and harmful to your health. We are different. We use the most bioavailable ingredients at the effective researched dosage amounts. We invest in getting our products Drug Free Certified by Informed Sport & Choice. I want to continue to add value by opening people’s eyes to the fact that investing in your health can help to positively change outcomes. We should all be doing several things to better our health- eat wholesome foods, move our bodies daily, supplement nutrients, and get proper rest. If you’re on a budget, I believe your supplements should be a non-negotiable. You’re saving yourself time and money in the long run. Possibly fewer sick days, less trips to the doctor, feeling better, looking better, and having the ability to do more in your day. It’s a proactive approach to your health right now and in the future.
Team XND and potential Team XND, please remember when you’re approaching a new customer in your network or out of your network to buy products, it should never be just a transaction. Listen, learn and pay attention to them. Help them understand their needs from your perspective. Give them personal testimonial on what it has done for you or someone close to you, whether it is products or the business opportunity, or both! Provide examples on how everything works and offer a plan of action to help them get started. You are there to help. You have the ability have a lifelong effect on each customers health.
Cheers,
Jason St Clair

Mental Clarity Is Our "FOCUS"
The Global Sports Nutrition and High Energy Supplements market accounted for $44.58 billion in 2017 and is expected to reach $124.85 billion by 2026 growing at a CAGR of 12.1% from 2017 to 2026.
The industry is flooded with products that boast “ More Energy” and “Better Focus”. We at Xendurance knew that if we were going to build an Energy & Focus product, we had to make it better than any product on the market. Thus, the creation of Focus. This product touts all-natural flavoring and the most innovative nootropics on the market.
What is Focus Made of?
✅ 300mg AlphaSize® Alpha-GPC
✅ Beet Root Powder
✅ L-Theanine
✅ L-Tyrosine
✅ B6&B12
✅ 130mg Caffeine from Natural Green Tea
How is our product Focus different? For starters, we didn’t skimp on the ingredients. Focus contains Alphasize Alpha-GPC, a patented, FDA full Gras, clinically tested, pharmaceutical grade nootropic. Studies show that Alphasize Alpha-GPC aides in increasing power output, strength and agility and also helps to maintain and improve memory and concentration, and mental fatigue. Many companies use the generic version of the nootropic to save money, but what they save in cost, they lose in quality and efficacy. Other companies typically include this ingredient in a proprietary blend to disguise the amount of Alpha-GPC that is actually in the product. The minimum amount for efficacy of Alpha-GPC is 100mg; Xendurance Focus contains 300mg of Alpha-GPC.
Beetroot powder is quickly emerging as a breakout superfood and with great reason. It is low in carbohydrates and packed with essential nutrients to help the body function properly and efficiently. Studies show beetroot helps to improve natural energy and stamina, and promotes increased blood flow and oxygen throughout the body. Paired with L-Theanine, which promotes heightened focus, awareness, and energy, as well as L-Tyrosine, which promotes the body's production of neurotransmitters, we believe we have a winning blend. This blend also includes 130 mg of Natural Green Tea Extract which provides an added boost of energy. The lower dosage of natural caffeine allows the product to be safely consumed several times per day.
We’ve had an overwhelming amount of positive responses within the first week of the Focus product launch. Customers have reached out to tell me:
“...Felt great and the 130mg of Caffeine did not make me feel jittery or out of the ordinary. Loved it- another one crushed by XND…. Proud to be a part of it...”
“...Focus is probably my favorite product now. Great taste, fast acting, made me feel super alert and no jittery energy drink feeling. Hel, i even hit a 5# PR on my snatch today…”
“...Focus kept me going 10 of my 12 hour shift! I usually need extra energy around 3am, but I didn’t start to notice until 5am! I can’t wait to see how it’ll work and how long it’ll last for me during my workouts...”
Don’t just take their word for it, try it for yourself! Do we have the winning blend? Is our Focus better than the rest? You be the judge and put Focus to the test.
Feel free to share your testimonial with me @jasonxnd

Why We NEED to Supplement
It's not what we eat, it's what we absorb. Clean lifestyle eating is always recommended, along with exercise and supplementationWhy should we Supplement?Mass produce foods, the convenience of how we eat, the workouts we put our bodies through, and to strengthen our immune system. 7 reasons why we need supplements: 1. Gap in nutrition 2. Nutrient absorption declines with age 3. Avoid harmful chemicals 4. EXERCISE increases nutrient needs 5. Poor diet 6. Prevent expensive health issues 7. Soil depletion
https://linknutrition.com/blogs/news/soil-depletion-and-why-we-need-vitamins-more-than-ever
The plants we eat support human health in many ways. They provide us with carbohydrates, proteins and fats for energy, and vitamins and minerals to support the body's essential processes. These vitamins and minerals are both synthesized in the plant and drawn from the surrounding soil.
Due to the nature of modern farming practices the quality of vitamins and minerals found in soil has gradually decreased over hundreds of years. As the quality of the soil decreases fewer vital micronutrients transfer into the food we eat. In fact, to get the same amount of vitamin A from an orange as our grandparents would have done, we would need to eat eight oranges today.
What is soil degradation?
Prior to the advent of farming, plants grew wild and the edible parts or the whole plant were harvested as needed. Nutrients drawn from the soil as the plant grew were gradually replaced through natural life cycles which maintained the quality of the soil. Modern intensive farming, however, is different. The continuous use of soil to meet society’s ever-increasing food demands strips the soil of valuable nutrients leaving each crop with fewer nutrients than the previous harvest. Modern agriculture focuses on producing crops maximized for size, growth rate and resistance to pests, not nutrition. Faster growing crops allow farmers to produce more in a year, but do not enable plants to uptake quality nutrients at a similar rate.
A large-scale study on the nutrient value of foods conducted between 1930 and 1980 and published in the British Food Journal found that in 20 vegetables the average calcium content in this time had declined 19%, Iron 22%, and potassium 14%. Vitamins A and C, niacin, riboflavin, thiamine, magnesium, zinc and copper also showed a reduction in this time. In addition, produce is increasingly being shipped thousands of miles and sitting in storage or on shelves for weeks, causing a greater degradation of the nutrient profile.
Bridging the gap
The unfortunate news is that taking steps to improve soil quality, like alternating fields between growing seasons, is largely inaccessible. What we can do is ensure that our fruit and vegetable intake is high enough to accommodate the reduction in nutritional value. The NHS recommends that people eat a minimum of 5 servings of fruit and vegetables per day, but some studies show that this number needs to be much higher, as high as 10 servings, in order to preserve good health.
A high-quality food state multivitamin can help address insufficiencies of some of the most lacking vitamins and minerals. This doesn’t mean that vitamin supplements are an adequate substitute for a diet rich in plant sources. Fruits and vegetables contain things other than vitamins and minerals that are still essential to good health, including macronutrients like fats, carbohydrates and proteins, fiber, and beneficial phytochemicals.
We believe that by eating a diet predominantly made up of whole-foods, high in vitamins and minerals, and taking a high-quality multivitamin, you are giving yourself the best chance for good health.

WELCOME! Here is the Readers Digest Version of My Story!
The Reader’s Digest Version of my life story.
I’m often asked “What’s your story?” Here it is.
I am married to my beautiful wife Andrea and I have three beautiful daughters
in 2007, I retired from professional baseball in the Tampa Bay organization. My plan B: Be a Firefighter. I tested for 3 years but the economy was in decline and I was offered the opportunity to start a career as an MLB agent. I took a leap of faith and along the way I found a passion for endorsements & helping athletes outside of baseball.
In 2010, I became an MLBPA Certified agent and negotiated several hundred endorsements/sponsorships and negotiated several multimillion dollar contracts.
One year later, Extreme Endurance came into my life and my story with Xendurance began. This product is why I am here & will never go away; It’s one of my greatest passions.
My dad, who spent 20 years in supplement manufacturing, introduced me to Extreme Endurance. I read the bottle, "reduce lactic acid and raise aerobic threshold”. Immediate thought: snake oil. At the time, I was mountain bike racing and curiosity got the best of me. I tested Extreme Endurance 3 times and couldn’t believe my results. I called the founder, "How come you’re not muscle milk big? How come I’ve never heard of you?!" He said “Because you have a competitive edge and like you, no one wants to talk about it.” That was the ‘Ah Ha’ moment. I didn’t want to tell anyone I was taking the product.
Since 2006, 12+ Clinical Studies have been conducted on Extreme Endurance. Prior to the Study published in 2016, my focus was on helping people with their performance: elite athletes, weekend warriors, and the average gym goer.My mission now? Get Extreme Endurance to EVERYONE.The 2016 study revealed something we didn’t expect: A 39% REDUCTION IN OXIDATIVE STRESS IN 10 DAYS!Oxidative stress is the leading cause of degenerative diseases.Cue anti-aging.Now everyone has the ability to improve or maintain overall health and optimal athletic performance- and it’s PROVEN.This product continues to help build our pharmaceutical grade vitamins and supplements at research level dosages. We focus on the science of each ingredient in every product. We will never cut corners on ingredients because of the cost. REAL food comes first, but supplementation exists for a reason. Fact is, food today is mass produced and lacks vital nutrients. Our workouts are harder & we need better recovery. Extreme Endurance gives you an advantage in both your health and athletic performance. It has changed my life in many ways and my goal is to give everyone the opportunity I have.
I will be sharing my thoughts here about:
-Xendurance Products

-Personal Development
-Book recommendations
-Business advice
-Life experiences

-Some of my favorite things
And anything else that could be of value to anyone who might want to read it. With that being said, thank you for joining me on this collective journey
